The Slavic Passport
Every guest gets a passport and collects stamps around the village: tasting a dish on Food Street, making a craft, taking a short tour of the church. Five stamps win a prize at Info & Slavic Passport.
Austin Slavic Festival 2026
Up to 500 neighbors, one afternoon of Slavic food, dance and traditions. Sponsor a piece of it.
Families of Slavic heritage across the Austin area keep their languages, music, food and traditions alive while building their lives in Texas. Yet there has never been a festival that brings these communities together. This year, we're changing that.
Most of all, we want our children to experience that heritage firsthand: to see traditional music and dance, make something with their own hands, try a folk game and taste foods they've never tried before.
Whether your family comes from Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus or another part of the Slavic world, this celebration is for you.
No Slavic roots? Come discover something new. You're welcome too.
The grounds around the church become a small Slavic village: Food Street and rows of local vendors, Kids Crafts, a bounce house, a Tea House with a samovar, a themed corner where Masha and the Bear come to play, and a photo zone next to Info & Slavic Passport. Short performances run on the main stage every 30–40 minutes, and between them the host sends everyone out to explore.

Kids have crafts, the bounce house and the themed corner with cartoons. Grown-ups have Food Street, tea from the samovar and vendors selling folk crafts and embroidery.
Folk ensembles, dancers and musicians take the main stage from noon to 6 PM, with benches for the audience right in front.
Guests come from the Anderson Mill, Cedar Park and Northwest Austin area. They are the families who live near your business.
